Workspace Settings
Your Brevr workspace settings control how your team’s shared environment is named, configured, and accessed. Keeping these settings current ensures your dashboard, invitation emails, and default link behavior all reflect your brand correctly.

What Is a Workspace
A workspace is your team’s shared Brevr environment. Every short link, QR code, custom domain, and analytics report you create lives inside a single workspace. All team members in the workspace see and work with the same data.
You can be a member of multiple workspaces — useful if you manage links for separate clients or brands. Each workspace has its own links, domains, billing, and team.

General Settings
General settings cover the workspace name and other workspace-wide preferences. Changes here affect how your workspace appears across the dashboard and in emails sent to your team.
Rename Your Workspace
- Go to Settings → General
- Update the workspace name field
- Click Save
Your workspace name appears in the dashboard header and in team invitation emails. Renaming does not affect your links, domains, or analytics in any way.

Default Domain
The default domain setting controls which domain Brevr pre-selects when you create a new short link. Without a default set, you select your domain manually each time.
- Go to Settings → General
- Click the Default Domain dropdown
- Select one of your connected custom domains (or the Brevr-provided domain)
- Click Save
Once set, every new link you create will pre-fill with the default domain. You can still override it on a per-link basis. To connect a new domain first, see the custom domains guide.
Team and Access
Your workspace team settings — invitations, roles, and member management — are covered in the dedicated team guide. Brevr supports Admin, Editor, and Viewer roles with granular access controls.
See the full guide: Team Members — inviting members, managing roles, and removing access.
Danger Zone
Delete Your Account
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. To delete your account, contact support. Deleting your account removes all workspaces you own, along with every link, QR code, custom domain, and analytics record associated with them. Workspaces where you are a member (but not the owner) are not affected.
If you want to stop using Brevr without losing your data, cancel your subscription instead — your account and data remain intact on the Free plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I have multiple workspaces?
Yes. Create a new workspace from the workspace switcher in the top-left of the dashboard. Each workspace has its own links, billing, team, and domains. Switching between workspaces takes one click from any page.
Can I transfer workspace ownership to another person?
Workspace ownership transfer is handled by the support team. Contact support with the new owner’s email address and we will complete the transfer.
Does renaming my workspace affect my links or domains?
No. The workspace name is purely cosmetic. Your short links, custom domains, QR codes, and analytics are unaffected by renaming.
How do I switch between workspaces?
Use the workspace switcher in the top-left corner of the dashboard. Click your current workspace name to open the switcher, then select a different workspace from the list.
