Share Analytics Reports with Clients
Share link analytics reports with clients, stakeholders, or leadership without giving anyone access to your Brevr account. Each report is a unique URL that shows live data for the links you choose.

How Shared Reports Work
A shared report is a standalone page with a unique URL. Anyone with the link can view the analytics for the links you selected — they do not need a Brevr account or login. You control which links are included and whether the report requires a password.

Reports update in real time. Whenever someone views the report URL, they see the latest data. You can update the report settings or revoke the link at any time from your Brevr dashboard.
Common use cases:
- Agencies sharing campaign performance with clients after a campaign launch
- Marketing teams sending a link to leadership for a weekly performance review
- Freelancers proving link ROI to a client without sharing account credentials
Report Access Options
You choose how open or restricted each report is when you create it.
| Access Type | Who Can View |
|---|---|
| Public link | Anyone with the URL |
| Password-protected | Anyone with the URL + password |
Password protection adds an extra layer. The recipient enters the password on the report page before the data loads. You set the password when you create the report and can change it at any time.

How to Update or Revoke a Report
You can change a report’s settings or turn it off at any time. Revoking a report immediately breaks the URL — anyone who tries to open it will see a “report not found” message.
- Go to Analytics → Reports.
- Find the report you want to change.
- Click the three-dot menu next to the report name.
- Choose Edit to update the name, links, or access settings, or choose Revoke to disable the URL permanently.

Plan Limits
The number of active reports you can have at one time depends on your plan.
| Plan | Active Reports |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Pro | 5 |
| Business | Unlimited |
If you reach your limit on Free or Pro, delete an existing report before creating a new one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the report recipient need a Brevr account?
No. The report URL opens a public-facing page that works for anyone. Recipients do not need to sign up or log in — unless you have added password protection, in which case they only need the password you share with them.
Can a recipient download or export the report data?
No. Shared reports are view-only. The export feature is only available inside your Brevr account. If a client needs raw data, export it yourself from the analytics page and send them the file.
Can I include links from different workspaces in one report?
No. Each report is scoped to a single workspace. If you manage multiple workspaces, you would create a separate report in each one.
What happens if I delete a link that’s included in a report?
The deleted link’s data is removed from the report. The report itself stays active — it will just show the remaining links you included.
Can I set an expiration date on a report?
Not currently. Reports stay active until you revoke them manually. To time-limit access, revoke the report when you want it to stop working.

🎬 Video walkthrough: [Creating and Sharing an Analytics Report — ~2 min]
Walk through every step below with the screenshots to follow along at your own pace.
Step 1: Open the Analytics Section and Start a New Report
Click Analytics in your Brevr sidebar, then click the New Report button. This opens the report creation form where you will configure everything before the report URL is generated.
📸 Screenshot: The Analytics section open in the sidebar with the “New Report” button highlighted in the top-right corner of the Reports tab, just before the creation form appears.
Step 2: Name the Report and Select Links to Include
Enter a name for the report — this is for your own reference and is never shown to recipients. Then use the link selector to choose one or more links whose analytics you want to include in the report.
📸 Screenshot: The report creation form showing the “Report name” field filled in (e.g., “Q1 Campaign — Client View”) and the link selector open below it with several links listed and checkboxes next to each one, with two links already selected.
Step 3: Set the Access Type
Choose between Public link (anyone with the URL can view) or Password-protected (recipients must enter a password before data loads). If you select password-protected, a password field appears — enter the password your recipients will use.
📸 Screenshot: The access settings section of the report creation form showing the two radio options (Public link and Password-protected), with Password-protected selected and a password input field revealed below it with a sample password entered.
Step 4: Create the Report and Copy the URL
Click Create Report. The report is generated and a confirmation screen shows the unique report URL. Click Copy to copy the URL to your clipboard, then share it with your client or team.
📸 Screenshot: The post-creation confirmation screen displaying the generated report URL in a text field with a “Copy” button next to it, and a success message confirming the report was created successfully.
Step 5: Edit or Revoke an Existing Report
Go to Analytics → Reports to see all your active reports. Click the three-dot menu next to any report and choose Edit to update the name, included links, or access settings — or choose Revoke to immediately disable the URL so it shows a “report not found” message to anyone who visits it.
